We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and we found it very nice. However, some adjustments would be amazing considering that it is a 5*. In fact, we found that the staff was really not prepared to help guests in need of information or anything else. Anytime we asked for something they would always say there was another colleague we should have asked. I. E. You cannot ask for information to the receptionist because she would say you need to talk to the concierge and that may be a huge problem if the poor guy has a day off! Same thing happens when you ask for a bottle of water to the maid, as they would tell you to call the receptionist first and only after they can bring staff to the room. I honestly found this very annoying bc you cannot wait for hours before your problem is solved. It is my personal opinion that a 5* hotel’s staff should be very accommodating and prepared to help even though that is not their specific role in order to avoid guests waiting to long or have to solve the issue themselves. Highlight of the trip was Victor as without him my tours would have never gone the way they went and he made everything easy for us by booking restaurants and activities throughout all our stay. I would definitely go back to this hotel and hope they will take these adjustments to make sure everything goes even better next time.

Our stay at hotel Alfred Sommier was wonderful. All of the staff were excellent, five star service. We ate at the hotel restaurant one night and the food was wonderful as well as the service. The concierge was great and had wonderful recommendations for restaurants as well as helped us get a reservation at a restaurant that was difficult for us to make on our own. The staff all remembered our names and would always ask how we were doing and if there was anything they could assist us with. We met the owner as well who was very kind. This hotel treats you as family not just as a guest paying for a room to stay. The location is excellent, easy to walk to gallery Lafayette and other shopping as well as about one mile from the louvre. Easy access to metro as well. Will definitely come back again and would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Paris.

Richard de Warren, the fifth-generation family descendant owner of the building, and his team take care of their guests' every need. They were very nice and helpful when we needed to find a doctor on a Sunday morning and then a pharmacy to take care of an acute medical issue. Very pleasant and professional. Highly recommend. Easy to walk to many sights and restaurants from the hotel. Rue de Castellane is around the corner and has many different types of reasonably priced and nice restaurants to choose from after a long day of sightseeing.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful! It's even more beautiful in person! The location is great, there are a lot of touristy spots walking distance from the hotel. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was absolutely delicious! We stayed in one of the rooms with a terrance facing the street, it was so nice! We had breakfasting our own private terrace, we thought it was quite peaceful.

The property is both historical and hip! there are personal touches everywhere and it feels like staying at a noble relative estate 😁(imagine that would be the feeling!). couldn’t be happier for the room that had a terrace - the art work is whimsical and the bed super comfy. The staff is personable and professional. can’t say enough good things about this hotel, merci!
